KPI Workshop 

Part of the Responsibilities of the Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is the regulation of the electricity industry, which includes setting performance control measures to achieve the objectives of the government in promoting fair competition and reduce monopoly. 
In this sense, ECRA held a workshop "Study the Development of Key Performance Indicators for the Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electricity" during the period from 11 to 14/11/1429 AH (9 to 12/11/2008) in the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. The objective is to highlight the importance of developing performance indicators, to present the mostly used key performance indicators (KPI's) in all of the activities of the electricity industry (generation, transmission, distribution and customer service) as well as methods of calculating and applying it in accordance with the best international practices in line with the restructuring plan to develop the electricity industry to improve the efficiency of performance and stimulate the private sector to invest. 
Many stakeholders in the electricity industry from producers and users have participated in the workshop
